Patient Advisory Services
Chiro-care Pty Ltd introduced a new service of providing advice and education to patients in 2010 by the principal Chiropractor, Dr. Russell Banks.
The service will be particularly valuable for people who have been recently diagnosed with a condition they do not have much knowledge about or perhaps are worried about. I am able to explain conditions in language that you can understand. Having been in education for more than 20 years, I have learnt to organise my thoughts in ways that can be enlightening for everyone.
One of the important aspects of this process to learn more information about your problems and make steps forward in the process of finding out what is causing you all this trouble, is communication. I will make every effort to communicate with your Medical Doctor, Specialist or other Health Practitioner. I am not replacing your own practitioner. I am going to do whatever I can to complement their care. I should be able to understand their ideas and explain them, learn what you think and convey what you feel is right to them, if they haven't been listening to you.
The costs are the normal patient charges. Refer to the Clinic Webpage. If research needs to be undertaken, the cost is $15 / 15 minutes. For example, if you have a missing R-chromosome (no such condition), I will be able to find out which support groups are available to provide information to you or perhaps assist with ideas for treating the disorder.

The Clinic has Bankcard, Mastercard, Visa card and Eftpos facilities. The Clinic has the healthpoint system that will enable patients to claim from their private health insurers electronically at the clinic.
Please contact the Clinic on 03 9848 2111. Dr. Banks will be able to answer your call on all occasions unless Dr. Banks is in a meeting, busy with a patient, attending a lecture or out with his family.
